Remedy Direct was a platform created for medical professionals to act as independent companies to offer services for facilities
The process
Challenges
- The new software needed to accommodate both facilities and providers to manage to both find and manage their work
- Needed a design which introduced a new business and work model
Research
Research was conducted through multiple approaches.
Prior Research and testing
Some of the software was integrated from scheduling systems my company had created for physician staffing. The system had been used and improved over the course of a decade to reflect the staffing needs for multiple hospitals in multiple states.
Additional Research
Research was done in conjunction with a national promotional campaign. We met a multiple conventions of over 20,000 attendance and spoke directly with over 300 potential clients to collect their concerns, interests, and inquiries regarding the products and services. This interaction also allowed us to get perspective of the demographics and challenges of our target audiences.
Frequent concerns and Inquiries
Conclusions
In addition to the functionality of the of the internal site; there needed to be a an emphasis on initial designs that showcased the non-traditional model of business and services.
In addition to a simplistic landing page that compartmentalized the needs of different client types (providers and facilities) I created a short commercial video demonstration that disambiguated terminology and concepts of the matter. This also allowed us to iterate a relatable scenario to our clients.
Commercial
Demonstrated a typical scenario where our product was helpful and showcased the applications of our product in that explanation.
Wireframes
The end users were personnel from the medical field so we had many of the end users as part of our team to explore design concepts. Explanatory images of design concepts were created to help describe the functionality of the software. Additionally these were precursors to a proposed interactive tutorial assistant.
Landing Page Iterations
- The home page needed to cater to both facility as well as provider clients on initial glance’
- The page needed to more responsive to varying screen sizes
